Ingeo™ fiber is the world's first man-made fiber derived entirely from annually renewable resources that can also be easily recycled, burned or composted back into safe, natural materials. So not only does Ingeo fiber not pollute the environment upon its disposal, it actually preserves our planet as it is being made. What's more, Ingeo fiber delivers performance equal to today's best carpeting. Superior stain resistance and soil release properties, the flexibility of bulk continuous filament and spun yarns ... equal or better performance than a nylon carpet in smoke tests. Further, it can take less energy to convert Ingeo fiber into carpet than to make the same carpet from nylon or olefin.
